"Robot Eyes" Faster Than Humans — New Reflex System Responds to Danger Faster Than the Human Brain
While the human brain's reaction time to danger seems fast, a new "robot eye" technology has just outpaced it. Scientists worldwide have collaborated to develop a new "Reflex" system for autonomous devices that responds faster than humans.

The system mimics how human vision works. What makes it unique is that instead of processing all surrounding details continuously, it first captures sudden movements — then processes the remaining information gradually, making it extraordinarily fast.
The heart of this technology is a specialized chip that focuses exclusively on motion detection. It ignores distracting background information and captures moving objects within just 100 microseconds (one ten-thousandth of a second). That's 4 times faster than existing technologies and more than 10 times more efficient than conventional methods.
In the future, if these "robot eyes" are installed in self-driving cars, drones, and robots, they will be able to react to danger even faster than humans. It's still at the research stage, but soon the devices around us may be able to see and react faster than we can.
