Chinese robotics company MirrorMe Technology has unveiled a human-sized robot called Bolt, which reportedly reached a top speed of 10 meters per second in real-world tests. MirrorMe claims Bolt is the fastest bipedal humanoid robot of its size ever tested outside a lab. Bolt stands 175 cm tall and weighs 75 kg. To achieve high-speed bipedal running, it uses newly designed joints and an optimized power system. During its demonstration, the company's founder Wang Hongtao raced it on a treadmill, where Bolt showed shorter stride lengths but a noticeably higher stride frequency. Ref: Fossbytes
