Google Meet has expanded its AI-powered real-time translation feature to support 63 languages, allowing users to understand each other across language barriers during video calls. Previously limited to a handful of languages, the platform can now automatically detect and translate speech on the fly for a much wider global audience.

The core capability of this feature lies in its ability to identify the language each participant is speaking and instantly convert it into the language understood by others on the call. This means that even when participants speak entirely different languages, conversations can flow smoothly without major communication gaps.

This upgrade is expected to benefit professional meetings, international collaborations, and online classes where language differences have traditionally posed challenges. By removing much of the friction in cross-language communication, Google Meet aims to make video conferencing more inclusive for a diverse, global user base.

For users in Myanmar, this expanded translation feature could make it easier to communicate with international colleagues, clients, and partners, reducing the difficulties often caused by language barriers in everyday video calls.
