Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has threatened to "completely destroy" OpenAI's $30 billion Stargate AI data center located in Abu Dhabi through a video file. The video contains precise satellite imagery showing the facility's location.
Major General Ebrahim Zolfaghari, a spokesperson for the IRGC, warned that if the United States damages any of Iran's electrical infrastructure, the U.S. and Israeli facilities will face retaliation.
In the video, Google Maps was used to zoom in on a "vacant" desert area in Abu Dhabi, which was then replaced with night-vision imagery. This revealed the complete appearance of the secret data center that Google had concealed, accompanied by text stating "Although Google conceals it, nothing escapes our eyes."
Iran has previously attacked Amazon AWS data centers and forced them to shut down, and has also threatened to attack 18 other American technology companies.
