Honor's new "Robot Phone," which is set to astonish the smartphone world, was officially unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2026 (MWC 2026) in Barcelona. The most remarkable feature is that the phone's camera can literally perform. The phone features a pop-out robotic camera arm with a three-axis gimbal system and a 200 MP sensor. It can emerge from the back of the phone and rotate smoothly, and can even automatically track and frame your face during video calls. It can also move in sync with music, nod, shake its head, and perform other animated gestures, making it a lively and charming little camera. Thanks to this movable camera, the phone feels like more than just a smartphone — it offers a sense of interactive responsiveness that Honor has dubbed a "new species of smartphone." While it's not an actual robot, it's best described as a smartphone equipped with a robot-style camera arm. A prototype was hinted at earlier this year, and its live demonstration at MWC 2026 — where it moved and performed in real time — went viral across the internet. However, Honor has not yet officially confirmed when it will be available for purchase. Ref: Technology Innovation
