A few months ago Honor introduced three models with 10,000mAh batteries in China, and it's now reported the company is working on a phone with an even larger battery — 3,000mAh bigger than those models. The phone, named Honor X80 GT, would feature a battery capacity far exceeding most current smartphones. According to Chinese reports, the upcoming Honor X80 GT could pack a massive 13,080mAh battery. If true, this would make it one of the largest-battery smartphones ever, dwarfing the ~5,000mAh found in phones from Apple, Samsung, and Google, and even surpassing the Honor Win and Honor Power 2's ~10,000mAh. The smartphone is also reported to include 80W fast charging and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. It may feature an 8,000-nit OLED display similar to the Honor Power 2, and could be equipped with a large Sony sensor camera with OIS. The last GT model in Honor's X-series was the Honor X60 GT, released in April 2022 with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip — the X70 series had no GT variant. Current reports suggest this phone could launch in the first half of this year, though until Honor officially confirms, these specs should be treated as preliminary leaks. Ref: Gizmochina
