Android Authority has discovered evidence that ChatGPT may soon integrate with Google Health data, bringing a feature many Android users have long been waiting for. The integration appears to be in development through OpenAI's ChatGPT app, based on code analysis.
Currently, ChatGPT's iOS version already supports Apple Health integration, allowing iPhone users to sync their fitness and health data directly with the chatbot. However, Android users have not had access to a similar feature until now. Reports suggest ChatGPT could soon connect with Google's Health Connect platform, which serves as a central hub for health data from apps like Google Fit, Samsung Health, and other fitness trackers.
If this integration rolls out as expected, Android users would be able to feed their health data—such as exercise routines, sleep patterns, and calorie intake—directly into ChatGPT for personalized analysis and recommendations. This could make the AI assistant a more practical daily companion for health and wellness tracking, closing a long-standing gap between Android and iOS ChatGPT experiences.
While OpenAI has not officially confirmed this feature, the development is noteworthy given ChatGPT's massive user base, including many daily users in Myanmar who rely on the app for various tasks. Should this integration launch, it could mark a meaningful step forward in making AI-powered health insights more accessible to Android users worldwide.
