Apple's newly introduced iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max smartphones are experiencing abnormal speaker noise, according to user complaints. Although Apple released iOS 27.0.1 Update to fix a Face ID bug that caused phones to unlock unexpectedly, the speaker issue persists.

According to affected users, crackling, popping, or distorted sounds are emanating from the earpiece speaker at the top of the device. For some users, the abnormal sounds occur regularly, while others notice the issue when using applications, browsing websites, making calls, or rapidly adjusting screen brightness settings.

Frustrated users who have replaced their devices with new units are still experiencing similar issues with their replacement phones. It remains unclear whether the problem is caused by software or hardware defects, as Apple has yet to issue an official statement clarifying the situation.
