South Korea's government is preparing to offer free Generative AI services to help citizens with their daily tasks. Through the AI for All program launching in September, users will be able to get assistance with medical appointments, housing searches, and tax matters.

The services will be supported by three groups including the country's leading telecom companies and Kakao, with direct integration into government systems.

Users will be able to use unlimited tokens, while small business owners and parents will also enjoy special benefits such as tax calculation assistance and educational recommendations.

The government will support the project with up to 512 Nvidia B200 chip units and will also assist with operational costs.

The main objective is to reduce dependence on the United States and China, and to strengthen the domestic AI technology sector.
