Most people consider a beautiful bouquet of flowers or a romantic dinner when they want to propose to their loved one. However, a Japanese national named Yasushi Takahashi (also known as Yassan) prepared something so unique and extraordinary that it amazed the entire world.

❤6 months of journey and GPS artistry

He quit his job to propose to his girlfriend and traveled throughout Japan for 6 months. He walked, cycled, drove cars, and even took ferries, covering a distance of over 7,100 kilometers. The main objective was to record the routes he traveled using GPS and create text that would appear on a map.

❤A love story on Google Maps

When he uploaded his GPS records to Google Maps after completing his journey, an exceptionally large love announcement appeared. Across Japan's map, the large text "Marry Me" was displayed, and at the end, a heart shape was included.

❤A love journey that set a world record

His creation, which he worked so hard on, was able to set a Guinness World Record as the "world's largest GPS artwork." Yassan's act of dedicating this effort to love and writing letters across the entire map of Japan has become one of the most memorable incidents combining technology and love to date, and continues to be widely discussed.
