Swiss company LEM Surgical unveiled Dynamis at CES 2026 — billed as the world's first surgical humanoid system designed for actual use in operating rooms. Dynamis is specifically designed for spinal and orthopedic surgeries. It features three robotic arms: two that guide surgical instruments with precision, and one that holds a camera. The entire system is compactly mounted on a mobile cart that fits under the operating table. The robot uses NVIDIA Isaac for Healthcare technology and a proprietary AI system, enabling it to automatically compensate for minor movements during surgery. It also integrates with imaging systems, surgical navigation, and pre-operative planning — all through a single software platform. LEM Surgical successfully performed its first surgeries with the system at Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada in November 2025, and has already received FDA clearance. The company is now continuing to push forward in transforming spinal surgery using NVIDIA's Physical AI technology. Ref: Technology Innovation
