Google ကနေ ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့နှစ်ကုန်ပိုင်းမှာ မိတ်ဆက်ခဲ့တဲ့ Pixel 6 နဲ့ Pixel 6 Pro ဖုန်းတွေမှာ ကိုယ်ပိုင် Tensor Chip ကို အသုံးပြုထားတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ နောက်ဆုံးသိရှိရတဲ့ သတင်းတွေအရတော့ ယခုနှစ်လယ်ပိုင်းမှာ မိတ်ဆက်လာဖို့ရှိနေတဲ့ Pixel 6a ဖုန်းမှာလည်း Tensor Chip ကိုပဲအသုံးပြုလာဦးမှာပါ။
ဒါပေမယ့် Pixel 7 Series လိုမျိုး ဖုန်းမှာတော့ Google ကနေ ပိုအဆင့်မြှင့်တင်ထားတဲ့ 2nd Gen Tensor Chip ကို မိတ်ဆက်လာနိုင်ပါတယ်။ အခုအချိန်အထိတော့ Google Tensor Chip နဲ့ပတ်သက်ပြီး အသေးစိတ်မသိရသေးပေမယ့် သတင်းအချို့ထွက်ပေါ်လာခဲ့ပါပြီ။
ဒါကတော့ Google ကနေ 2nd Gen Tensor Chip ရဲ့ Camera Image Signal Processor (ISP) အတွက် ကျွမ်းကျင်သူတွေကို ဌားရမ်းနေပြီလို့ သိရပါတယ်။ အဆိုပါ 2nd Gen Tensor Chip ဟာ Codename အနေနဲ့ “Cloudripper” လို့ နာမည်ပေးထားတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
Google ဟာ 2nd Gen Tensor Chip ကို ယခု ၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ် နှစ်လယ်ပိုင်းမှာ တရားဝင်မိတ်ဆက်သွားဖွယ်ရှိပြီး Pixel 7 Series တွေမှာ အသုံးပြုသွားမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ First Gen Tensor Chip ဟာ စွမ်းဆောင်ရည်ပိုင်းမှာ Qualcomm Snapdragon နဲ့ Apple A15 Chip တွေကို မယှဥ်နိုင်ခဲ့ပေမယ့်လည်း AI ပိုင်းမှာ တော်တော်ကောင်းခဲ့တာကြောင့် 2nd Gen Tensor Chip ကလည်း AI ပိုင်းကိုပဲ အာရုံစိုက်သွားဖွယ်ရှိနေပါတယ်။
