Second Generation Tensor Chipset ကို စတင်ဆောင်ရွက်နေပြီဖြစ်တဲ့ Google

Google ဟာ ယခုနှစ် Pixel 6 နဲ့ Pixel 6 Pro ဖုန်းတွေမှာ ပထမဆုံးအနေနဲ့ ကိုယ်ပိုင် Tensor Chipset ကို စတင်အသုံးပြုနေပြီဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အဆိုပါ Google Tensor Chip ဟာ Benchmark တွေမှာတော့ လက်ရှိနောက်ဆုံးထွက်ရှိထားတဲ့ Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 နဲ့ Apple A15 Chip တွေကို မမှီသေးပေမယ့် တကယ်တမ်းအသုံးပြုတဲ့အချိန်မှာတော့ တန်းတူနီးပါးမြန်ဆန်နေတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

နောက်ထပ်လည်း Google ကနေ Tensor Chip အပေါ်မှာ AI နဲ့ Machine Learning ပိုင်းကို ပိုပြီးအားစိုက်ထားတာကြောင့် Speech Recognition နဲ့ Live Translate လိုမျိုး နေရာတွေမှာ Pixel 6 Series ဖုန်းတွေဟာ တခြားသော စမတ်ဖုန်းတွေထက် သိသိသာသာကို မြန်ဆန်နေပါသေးတယ်။ ဘာပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ် Overall အနေနဲ့ ပြောရမယ်ဆိုရင် Tensor Chip ဟာ Google အတွက် ပထမဆုံး Chipset ဖြစ်ပေမယ့်လည်း အောင်မြင်မှုရရှိနိုင်ခဲ့တယ်လို့ ပြောနိုင်ပါတယ်။

အခုလည်း Google Pixel 6 Series ရဲ့ Source Code ကနေတစ်ဆင့် Google ဟာ Second Generation Google Tensor Chip ကို စတင်ဆောင်ရွက်နေပြီလို့ သိရပါတယ်။ အဆိုပါ သတင်းကိုတော့ 9to5Google ကနေ ဖော်ပြခဲ့တာဖြစ်ပြီး Google ရဲ့ Second-Gen Tensor Chip ကို “Cloudripper” လို့ Codename ပေးထားတယ်လို့ သိရပါတယ်။

လက်ရှိ Google Pixel 6 Series မှာ အသုံးပြုထားတဲ့ Google Tensor Chip Platform အတွက် Model Number ကို GS101 လို့ နာမည်ပေးထားတာဖြစ်ပြီး အခု 9to5Google က တွေ့ရှိရတဲ့ Second-Gen Tensor Chip Platform ကိုတော့ GS201 လို့ နာမည်ပေးထားတယ်လို့ သိရပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့်လည်း အဆိုပါ Second-Gen Tensor Chip ဟာ လာမယ့်နှစ် Pixel 7 မှပဲ အသုံးပြုလာမှာဖြစ်ပြီး တခြားသော အသေးစိတ်အချက်အလက်တွေကိုတော့ မသိရှိနိုင်သေးပါဘူး။
